Looking for 1 more roommate, M or F, to share a modern 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms luxury townhouse located next to Japantown just North of San Jose downtown at the corner of 6th and Taylor. Neighborhood shopping, parks, pubs, and restaurants are all within 1-3 blocks walk. In close proximity to the primary VTA light rail line, as well as major freeways - 101, 880, 87, and 680. Less than 10 minutes from San Jose Airport. 

The three story townhouse features 1547 sf, 3 bedrooms, each with own bathroom, separate guest 1/2 bath, 2-car attached garage, bright living room, separate family room, dining area, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and natural maple cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and landscaped front yard. Other features include beautiful Brazilian hardwood floors, wall-to-wall designer carpeting, designer colors, ceramic tile entry, washer/dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, central a/c, and a cathedral ceiling over the living room. Parking is on the street, but rarely an issue, and usually right in front of the house. Available Room:

 

The available room is the Bedroom on the 1st floor, next to the garage.  (See More Pics.)  It's a small room with warm designer colors, your own private balcony, and your own separate private bathroom.  Very private and quiet, since everyone else is on the 3rd floor.  The bedroom is unfurnished. The room is on the small side, but the current tenant managed to fit a full size bed, nightstand, exercise bike, 2 bookshelves, a desk, and a 40" TV (yes, I was amazed myself).

 

The common areas are fully furnished, including pretty much most of what you need in the kitchen.  So ideally, you have no common area furniture, and just bedroom stuff.

 

Roommates:

The current roommates are two male professionals in  their early 30's.  One is a semi-conductor test engineer, plotting his upcoming trip to South America on his motorcycle.  Another is a respiratory therapist at a local hospital, working off hours, and gone a lot on off days on scuba diving trips to Monterey.  Both are very down-to-earh, humorous, not party-ers, but sociable.  Both have very active lives and are usually not around much.

You - Professional, 25-40'sh years old, M or F. You are clean, friendly, and respectful. Not too loud, but sociable. You might cook. You don't have guests over all the time. Definitely no drugs, no smoking (inside or outside), no pets, and no wild parties. You might hang out once in a while, but mostly you live your own life. And no drama, please. 

As the owner of the place, I don't live there any more.  But I still treat it as a home, and not just a rental.  I take my time to look for a long term fit, and make sure everyone gets along with everyone else.

Terms:

 

- $670 per month for the 3rd Bedroom. 

- A lease is required.  Minimum is 6 months, and up to a year.  After that, it's month-to-month.
- Monthly cleaning service for the common areas and bathrooms is included and will be paid for by me.
- Garbage is also included and paid for.
- Other utilities are additional and split 3 ways; these include electricity (PG&E), water, and cable/Internet (Comcast).
- Street parking is usually available right outside the building.  
- Storage space in the garage (no cars there).
- Security deposit is $500.00.
